Migrants
protest against regularisation fraud. In 2009 the government launched a
regularisation for foreigners working as home helps. It excluded all other types
of workers thereby favouring a black market of false documents and prestanomi (paying to use someone else’s
name in order to obtain a legal document to make a legal transaction) for the
permit of stay.

After more than 2 years, there are over 100 cases pending or
