Immigration:152 migrants in the Province of Syracuse

ANSA – There are 152 migrants, all of whom are in a good state of health, who were stopped by the police in the province of Syracuse after having split up into small groups. Some adolescents were amongst the group. They had arrived on the south east coast of Sicily aboard a wooden Egyptian fishing vessel. They managed to get as far as the mouth of the Cassibile river, not far from the seaside area of Fontane Bianche, which is about 20km from the provincial capital.
